Euryka Threads can now generate and edit Word documents and fetch readable content from web pages. Ask the assistant to produce a .docx file or edit an uploaded Word document, and it streams progress as it works. Paste a URL and it pulls the page content for summarising, extracting key points, or feeding into longer pieces of work.

Euryka can now create and edit Word documents for you, and pull readable content from a web page when you share a link. Both capabilities live inside any Thread — just ask, and the assistant will use the right tool to get the job done.

Can the assistant generate and edit Word documents?

When you ask the assistant to produce a deliverable as a Word document, it will generate a real .docx file you can download, share, or hand off to a colleague. It can also read and edit existing Word documents you upload, including .docx, .doc, and .odt formats.

Typical things you can ask for:

  • “Write a one-page brief for this campaign as a Word doc.”

  • “Take the attached DOCX and tighten the tone to match our brand voice.”

  • “Add a new section to this proposal covering pricing.”

The assistant streams its progress as it works, so you’ll see status updates while the document is being built or edited.

Can Euryka fetch and analyze content from web pages?

If you paste a URL into a Thread and ask the assistant to look at it, it can now fetch the readable content of that page and use it in its response. This is useful for summarising an article, extracting key points from a competitor’s landing page, or feeding a reference document into a longer piece of work.

A few things to know:

  • It works on a single URL at a time — share the specific page you want analysed.

  • Very long pages are truncated to keep responses fast and focused.

  • Pages behind a login or paywall can’t be fetched.

How to use them

  1. Open a Thread.

  2. Ask for what you want in plain language — for example, “Turn this into a Word document” or “Summarise the article at [URL].”

  3. The assistant picks the right tool automatically and shows its progress as it runs.

Tips

  • The file-creation tools only run when you explicitly ask for a deliverable. If you just want an answer in the chat, you’ll get one — no file attached.

  • Need a spreadsheet or a slide deck instead? Ask for one. The assistant has dedicated tools for those formats too.

  • For best results when editing, upload the source document at the start of the Thread so the assistant has the full context.
