Threads aren't just chat — the AI inside a thread can use tools that let it access the web, generate images, read files, process spreadsheets, watch YouTube videos, recall past conversation artefacts, and check your Google Calendar. You control which tools the model can access.
Opening the Tools dialog
Inside any thread, click the Tools / Integrations icon (or look for "Connect Euryka AI to your data and tools") to open the tools panel. Each tool can be toggled on or off per thread.
Available tools
Web search
The AI can search the web in real time to pull in fresh information during a reply. This is useful for research, fact-checking, and staying up to date on topics that change frequently.
Image generation
Generate an image directly inside the thread — without switching to Imaginations. The AI creates the image as part of its response, and you can prompt it to refine or regenerate.
YouTube transcripts
Paste a YouTube URL (or ask the AI about a video by URL) and the tool reads the video's transcript. The AI can summarise, quote, and reason over the content without you watching the video.
Files
When you've attached documents to a thread, the Files tool lets the AI search and retrieve content from them during a reply. Without this tool enabled, the AI may not reference earlier attachments.
Spreadsheets
If you've attached a spreadsheet to the thread, the Spreadsheets tool lets the AI read, query, and manipulate the data inside it.
Presentations
Lets the AI read through a presentation attachment — extracting slide titles, bullet points, and text content.
Thread tool
The AI can recall and reference past messages and artefacts from the same thread. Useful for long research threads where you want the model to build on earlier outputs.
Google Calendar
Connect Google Calendar to let the AI see your schedule, find specific events, and help you prepare for meetings. The AI can answer questions like "what's my busiest day this week?" or "summarise my agenda for tomorrow".
Enabling Google Calendar requires authorising Euryka from the Integrations dialog. See Thread Integrations for setup steps.
Which tools work with which models?
Most tools work across all supported models. Some capabilities (such as multimodal image generation) require a model that supports them. If a tool isn't available with your current model, the toggle will be greyed out.
