Starting a Thread

How to start an AI thread in Euryka, choose a model, and understand what's available on your plan.

Threads is Euryka's AI chat surface. Each thread is a persistent conversation with an AI model — scoped to your workspace, optionally tied to a brand and project, and shareable with teammates.

Ways to start a new thread

  • Sidebar — click Threads in the left sidebar. A new thread opens automatically.
  • Quick Start — type a prompt on the Dashboard and click Create. Euryka creates a thread with your message and files already loaded.
  • Quick Actions — click the Thread card on the Dashboard to open a new blank thread.
  • Command palette — press Cmd + E (or Ctrl + E), type "threads", and select Create new thread.

Sending your first message

Type in the message input at the bottom of the thread. You can:

Press Enter (or click the send button) to submit.

Choosing a model

Click the model picker above the message input to select which AI model should respond. Available models depend on your plan:

Plan Models available
Essential Gemini, Claude (Anthropic), GPT (OpenAI), Llama (Meta), Mistral, DeepSeek, Grok, Moonshot
Pro Everything in Essential, plus thinking models from Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, Grok, and Moonshot
Studio Everything in Pro, plus Claude Opus and Claude Opus thinking, plus priority access to new models as they launch
Enterprise Everything in Studio, plus priority access to all new models

You can switch models between messages — the conversation history carries over.

File attachments

Threads accept files alongside your messages. Supported file types:

  • Documents: PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD, JSON — embedded automatically so the AI can answer questions about them
  • Audio: MP3, OGG, WAV, M4A, AAC — transcribed automatically
  • Images: JPG, JPEG, PNG — attached directly for multimodal models
  • Spreadsheets and presentations

Maximum 25 MB per file. Maximum 5 files per message (when using Quick Start; standard thread messages may vary).

Adding brand and project context

Use the brand and project picker in the thread input to scope the conversation. The AI is then aware of your brand's guidelines and voice, and the thread is organised under the right project in Brand Hub.
